Ian Webster D.S.H M.A.R.H
I am a registered and qualified Homeopath with 40 years involvement in homeopathy. I commenced my study of homeopathy in Australia in the early 1980's. Throughout this time, I also studied extensively in medical sciences. On completion of this training, I came to England in 1987 to further my education in homeopathy. Since qualifying, I have practised In Australia for five years and for the last twenty five years in Devon.
I treat people in their homes throughout South Devon, travelling by motorbike; The Flying Homeopath! I find this a very friendly way to practise and people appreciate the convenience. The area I cover includes Ashburton, Tavistock, Okehampton, Exeter, Sidmouth and Exmouth.
I now live and also work out of Broadhembury, near Honiton. If you live in the Taunton, Wellington or Tiverton area, I can see you in my Broadhembury clinic.
I offer consultations using Zoom, FaceTime and WhatsApp. Throughout COVID all consultations were online or telephone; this trend has continued. I am still available for home consultations; some people much prefer the personal contact. Due to the one-off nature now of home consultations plus the increased fuel costs, I need to charge an additional cost for fuel and travel. This is dependent on location and is discussed at the time of arranging an appointment.
I also recently ran a homeopathic clinic at Battling On for three years treating military veterans, many with PTSD. An Initial nine month trail proved to be very successful so an ongoing clinic was established. This work was made possible by the excellent support and funding of Homeopathy-UK. On completion of the initial trial, Battling On arranged for an in-house video to be made. In the video I and some of the veterans discuss the treatment: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SepFTv7j8pM
Homeopathy is more than 200 years old, practised by tens of thousands of practitioners and used by over 200 million people worldwide, making it one of the most popular forms of holistic medicine.
My aim as a homeopathic practitioner is to provide the best possible prescribing and care. Sometimes treatment can be straightforward and this is a joy for all involved. However the nature of human illness and suffering means that at times, treatment is difficult and complex. My response is to be unstinting in working hard to help people get better, through accurate prescribing and providing helpful and supportive care.
